One Friend
By Dan Seals
I always thought you were the best
I guess I always will.
I always felt that we were blessed
And I feel that way still.
Sometimes we took the hard road
But we always saw it through.
If I had only one friend left
I'd want it to be you.
Sometimes the world was on our side
Sometimes it wasn't fair.
Sometimes it gave a helping hand
Sometimes we didn't care.
'Cause when we were together
It made the dream come true.
If I had only one friend left
I'd want it to be you.
Someone who understands me
And knows me inside out.
Helps keep me together
And believes without a doubt,
That I could move a mountain
Someone to tell it to.
If I had only one friend left
I'd want it to be you.
'Cause when we were together
It made the dream come true.
If I had only one friend left
I'd want it to be you.
Someone who understands me
And knows me inside out.
Helps keep me together
And believes without a doubt,
That I could move a mountain
Someone to tell it to.
If I had only one friend left
I'd want it to be you.

Our Confederate flag is in remembrance of our Confederate kinsmen who fought and died for the South in the War Between The States...

We have seven children (listed below)
and have lived in several states.
We also had the opportunity to live in Tehran, Iran
(where we adopted our youngest daughter, Soraya).
We have survived a somewhat stormy marriage
(like most married couples).
The wonderful thing is,
through the grace of God,
we have survived with love in tact!
Doran has worked overseas for about 25 years
(he's now retired from doing that)
In 1999 we went "over the road"
- for Sitton Motor Lines out of Joplin, Mo.
I have a journal about our truck driving experiences
and if you are interested in reading them
just click on the "My journals" under Index below ...
We no longer drive together because we are now raising our granddaughter, Karol Anne McEntire.
I am now home-schooling our granddaughter (2005) and play on my computer when I have the time.
I build sites for others and make background sets. My graphic design
business is HERE.
