The photos below are the same jail cell as the picture at the top of this page.
There are two cells for the women's side of the jail with one sitting room where there's a tv on a small table with a VCR player (the sitting room is not square and measures about 26 X 12). They are not allowed to have a CD player.

Often there have been as many as nine women housed in this space. Two bunkbeds for four women and the rest sleep on a pad on a cement floor. There are not enough pillows to go around so most have to do without.

There is absolutely no privacy for these women when they go to the bathroom. Dignity of privacy is denied them. There are no windows and they rarely get to go outside for exercise and fresh air.

We often receive prayer request from the ladies in jail. Most of the time it's for their family (their children, husband, parents). I know they would appreciate your visiting their prayer book and praying for their request. I thank you also for lifting this ministry up to our Lord.
