Below is a list of materials we use in our jail ministry. I've also added a few links to sites where you may find help in starting a jail ministry.

Materials We Use:

The Bibles we give to the women in jail are from the International Bible Society out of Colorado Springs, Colorado. The name of the Bible is "Free On The Inside" and is perfect to give to prisoners. We order the New King James version because the NKJ version makes it easier for the women to study God's Word.

    • We order our study books from Church Growth International out of Neosho, Missouri. The three study booklets we often order are the "Good News For You", "I've Been Born Again, What Next?" and the "Galations, From Law To Grace".

    Doctor Charles Brock, founder of Church Growth International, has written 7 basic discipleship books used in numerous prisons across America. These books teach the concepts of sin, salvation, and discipleship.

    • We also order little pocket Gospels from The Pocket Testiment League out of Lititz, Pa.

    The Pocket Testament League motivates Christians to read, carry and share the Word of God by helping develop a lifestyle of personal evangelism. They publish Gospels of John and other tools that can be ordered free of charge to share as special gifts with people you encounter every day as you go about your life. Membership is free.

    • Other study material we use comes from Les Feldick ministries out of Kinta, Oklahoma.

    Les Feldick's teaching programs are on satellite TV (including DIRECTV), cable TV, 25 local TV stations, and 17 radio stations, including short wave.
