Welcome To God's Jail Ministry

The vision of our jail Ministry is to:

  • To visit women who are incarcerated in our county jail

  • To tell the good news of Jesus Christ

  • To bring life and hope through faith in Him

  • To minister through prayer and fellowship

  • To love unconditionally with the love of God

  • To lead women into praise and worship

  • We will also minister to each woman by:

  • Praying for her and with her

  • Accepting her into our church fellowship

  • Providing food and clothing

  • Staying in touch regularly

  • Having her in our home

  • There are over 5,000 jails in the U.S., 800 juvenile institutions, 600 state prisons and 96 federal institutions.

There are 1,366,721 people serving time in U.S. prisons each day and more than three million people will spend some time in jail each year. Approximately 70 percent of the prisoners are incarcerated for non-violent crimes.

Studies have shown that a great many non-violent offenders come out of prison not rehabilitated, but instead, in far worse mental, physical, and moral condition than when they went in.

Ninety-five percent of all prisoners in our jails and prisons today will walk out the front gate someday.

What kind of people will they be?

What kind of neighbor will they make? Will they continue their career of crime or will they change to a lifestyle of labor and obedience?
How can a person who has served months and years in a jail or prison find the road back and build a new life?
What can Christians do and what can our churches do to help?
This vast field is white for harvest. God is still calling and sending laborers. When God's people respond to His call and His command there is no force or opposition that can keep them from being successful for the Kingdom. There is a harvest to gather and there are seeds to be sown.

Most inmates arrive at a prison or jail with few earthly possessions and few supporters.
They have had a very traumatic experience and often begin thinking about what went wrong in their past life. It is at that time that an evangelistic prison ministry can reach them for our Lord Jesus Christ.

That is our aim and our mission from God. If you would like to help us in our mission please click onto the HELP link below. It will take you to a page with all kinds of information on how you may help us. Thank you so much and God bless you!
